OUR STORY
How It Began
AHBEEF is an American, family-owned, and operated brand that delivers premium beef from our farm to
your fork. The brand was established by Justin and Lisa Lofton, Justin, a second-generation rancher, in
May 2022. However, the family history dates to the early 1980s when Justin grew up in Brawley,
California, watching his father, Bob Lofton, build their family cattle business from the ground up. While
Justin's family business was interesting, he also caught the racing bug. His early years were spent
competing in the ARCA and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series' where he was crowned ARCA Series
champion in 2009. He also races desert off-road and is a force to be reckoned with, claiming the overall
win at the prestigious Mint 400 three times. Justin still occasionally participates in off-road racing, but in
2014, he refocused his attention on the family business, Western Cattle Feeders.
Carrying On the Tradition
Under his father's mentorship, Justin learned the work it takes to deliver quality beef to your table. He
played a key role in expanding the family business to a second location in Lockney, TX, and was quickly
promoted to general manager within two years. After completing the certified program at Texas A&M
International Beef Cattle Academy, Justin set out to carry on the family tradition and create his own
brand of premium beef – AHBEEF. As an accomplished racer, Justin understands what it takes to be the
best and that unrelenting passion and determination are the driving force behind the AHBEEF brand.
He's taken great care to combine his family values with good old-fashioned ranching and today's science
and genetics to create top-quality cuts delivered directly to your door.
About the Cattle
AHBEEF's herd is bred from some of the finest genetic lines of Angus and Holstein cattle in Texas,
represented by the A and H in our name. Based in Lockney, Texas, we are among the few ranches
pioneering the crossbreeding of Angus and Holstein cattle, resulting in delicious, top-quality meat your
family will savor. Our cattle are under our care throughout their life cycle, and we feed them with
regionally sourced, premium corn, wheat, and other top-quality feed ingredients. We partner with a
small, USDA-inspected packer to process our meat locally. After that, we hand-cut and vacuum pack and
freeze each cut to preserve freshness, ensuring you receive hormone and antibiotic-free premium beef
right at your doorstep.

THE RACE SCENE
Much like their ranching heritage, racing roots run deep in the Lofton family. The story began in 1986
when Bob Lofton started racing with his brother, who owned an auto body shop in Brawley, California. It
was not uncommon to see the Lofton family ripping around Placer City, and from Bud Light Dash races
to desert off-road, Bob honed his craft and passed it down to his son, Justin.
Justin’s early racing years were spent in the ARCA and NASCAR Truck Series, and he was crowned ARCA
Series champion in 2009. Following several years on pavement, Justin moved to desert off-road racing
full-time. The wisdom and patience he gained from his father enabled Justin to navigate the challenging
desert terrain with confidence and skill. Racing in the Best in the Desert and SCORE Series’, Justin has
become a household name in off-road racing with three overall wins at the prestigious Mint 400, among
countless other wins.
Today, the Lofton family’s passion for racing remains a favorite tradition, with Justin tackling deserts
across the southwest. Of course you’ll always find Bob right by his side ready to assist in any way he can.
Continuing the family legacy, Justin’s son Liam has begun racing go-karts in the hopes of following in his
dad and grandpa’s footsteps.
